Canyon de Chelly
near Chinle, AZ

Stayed at the Best Western Inn in Chinle. The room was fine. We
had several
meals at the restaurant beside the
hotel called The Junction. We highly
recommend this restaurant. The
hotel is about five miles from Canyon de Chelly.
We needed to do laundry, and found a
nice laundromat beside the Burger King.
We arranged a tour of the canyon through the
Thunderbird Motel. The half day tour was
$45 a person, and worth it. The
gift shop at the Thunderbird had a great
selection at reasonable prices.
This canyon is used by the Navajo for farming and tourism.
